Larry worked for the California dept. of Corrections, as an officer not as an inmate ( he made that very clear) from 1966-1975

Larry and LaVern have their own business. They have a Security Business where they lease Guard dogs to to Commercial Businesses. They also train dogs for other people, Give training classes, Breed German Shepards, Puppy sales, Grooming, and dog boarding.

They live on 4-1/2 Acres and grow Chandler Walnuts.
