Married to Joan for about as long as I can remember, maybe longer.

Have six children, one deceased in an accident caused by a drunk driver.

12 grandchildren in Hastings, Red Wing and Minneapolis, there could be more.

Currently work for the State of Minnesota. I work with the Federal Homeland Security and the Minnesota Dept of Public Safety Homeland security. My primary duty is helping local governments recover after a natural disaster.

Joan is a stock broker for Northland Securities and an avid quilt maker. She is involved with quilt camps, quilt clubs, showing quilts, and whatever. There is always someone at our house, tying, sewing, or just cutting up. Every granddaughter got their first sewing machine at the age of six and they wack away at making quilts and clothes.
