Elementary Schools

Can you remember back this far. I sure hope these few photos will bring back some memories.

I do not have pictures of any of The Rural schools that a lot of kids went to. If you have a picture or can go take a picture, please get it to me and I will post it.

I would Like to take this opportunity to Thank Joel DeNeui for his help with some of the pictures and also the Freeborn County Historical Society for their help in retrieving some of the Pictures.

	Look to the left of the school. Do you remember the candy store across the street. They had a gum ball machine with gold ones that had a red band that you got 5 cents worth of candy if you got one. Even then The machine was rigged for the house to win, of course I never caught on.
