Larry & Jean Now

After graduating from ALHS I joined the Navy and served on the USS Wasp, an aircraft stationed out of Boston. When my tour of duty was up I returned to Albert Lea and worked at Wilson Foods. As most of you probably know Wilsons was sold many times over the past 40 plus years. It was destroyed by fire in July of 2002 and at that time was called Farmland Foods. After Farmland I was the parts manager at a local car dealership until I retired Jan. 2004.

Jean ( Lunning From '61' ALHS) and I have been blessed with three wonderful children and six grandchildren. We are fortunate to have them all living in the Minnesota so we can enjoy and spoil the grandkids.

Last May I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of the plasma). September I had a stem cell transplant and in January I was given the good news that the transplant was a success and that it is now in remission.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the class reunion in 2005.
