John Chesterman

In 1964 I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in chemistry.

Following graduation I went into the Peace Corps and taught chemistry in Jamaica for two years,

After that stint I returned to the U of M to study Law .

In 1969 I graduated from Law school,

I Then married my wife Sally, and moved back to Albert Lea.

I practiced law until 1990 when I was appointed District Judge.

It's been a fascinating experience and I thoroughly enjoy my work.

We have two sons: Patrick lives in Eugene, Oregon and Tim is in Rochester.

That's it!
